Konto fyrir WooCommerce: uppsetning og greiðsla með kröfu í netbanka
Konto fyrir WooCommerce gerir kaupendum kleift að greiða með kröfu í netbanka beint í kassanum — og Konto gefur sjálfkrafa út löggilta íslenska reikninga. Þú þarft aðeins að setja upp ókeypis viðbótina og líma inn tvö gildi úr Konto, þá er verslunin þín tilbúin.
- 1
Opnaðu vefþjónustuna í Konto
Skráðu þig inn á konto.is og farðu í
Stillingar → Virkar viðbætur → Vefþjónusta. Ef viðbótin er ekki enn virk skaltu virkja hana þar — API-aðgangur fylgir Fræ-áskrift og stærri áskriftarleiðum.

- 3
- 4
- 5
Virkjaðu greiðslumátann og límdu inn lykilinn
Hakaðu við „Enable/Disable — Offer Konto (invoice + bank claim) at checkout“ til að virkja greiðslumátann. Titillinn sem kaupandinn sér í kassanum er sjálfgefið „Reikningur í netbanka“ — þú getur breytt honum.
Límdu inn Username (NOTANDI) og API key (API LYKILL) sem þú afritaðir úr Konto. Smelltu á „Save changes“ — eftir vistun staðfestir síðan tenginguna: „Connected account: <nafn fyrirtækis>.“

- 6
Stilltu reikningsvalkosti og vistaðu
Stilltu eftir þörfum:
- Due date (days) — gjalddagi reiknings (sjálfgefið 5 dagar).
- Final due date (days) — lokagjalddagi (sjálfgefið 7 dagar).
- Invoice language — Konto notar íslensku fyrir íslensk heimilisföng, annars ensku.
- Order status after a Konto checkout — Mark as Processing right away, before the customer has paid — sjálfgefið af (mælt með).

- 7
Fyrirtæki geta hakað við „Send the invoice as an XML e-invoice (companies)“ til að fá rafrænan reikning.

- 8
Konto-reikningurinn og krafan eru tilbúin
Þegar pöntun er staðfest gefur Konto sjálfkrafa út reikning, sendir PDF-reikning á netfang kaupanda (eða rafrænan reikning) og stofnar kröfu í netbanka. Í pöntuninni sérðu:
- „Konto invoice: MRFS-1086” undir General.
- Athugasemd við pöntun: „Konto invoice MRFS-1086 issued with a bank claim.”
Sjálfgefið bíður pöntunin í stöðunni On hold þar til krafan er greidd — viðbótin sér sjálfkrafa um stöðubreytinguna, sjá næsta skref.

- 9
Pöntunin merkist sjálfkrafa greidd
Þegar kaupandinn greiðir kröfuna í netbankanum — eða reikningurinn er merktur greiddur í Konto — færir viðbótin pöntunina sjálfkrafa úr On hold í Processing. Jafnframt er greiðsludagurinn skráður, reikningsnúmerið sett inn sem færslunúmer og pöntunin fær athugasemdina „Konto: invoice … was paid”.
Viðbótin athugar greiðslustöðu á 15 mínútna fresti. Til að athuga eina pöntun strax skaltu velja „Konto: check payment status” undir Order actions.

Konto for WooCommerce: setup and payment by bank claim
Konto for WooCommerce lets customers pay by bank claim directly at checkout — and Konto automatically issues a legally valid Icelandic invoice for every order. All you need to do is install the free plugin and paste two values from Konto, and your store is ready to go.
- 1
Konto for WooCommerce: get your API credentials from Konto
Sign in at konto.is and go to
Settings → Active add-ons → “API Access & Web Services”. If the add-on is not yet active, activate it there — API access is included in the Fræ plan and higher.
- 2
- 3
- 4
- 5
Enable the payment method and paste your key
Tick “Enable/Disable — Offer Konto (invoice + bank claim) at checkout” to enable the payment method. The title shown to customers at checkout defaults to “Reikningur í netbanka” — you can change it.
Paste the Username (USER) and API key (API KEY) you copied from Konto. Click “Save changes” — after saving the page confirms the connection: “Connected account: <company name>.”

- 6
Configure invoice options and save
Configure as needed:
- Due date (days) — invoice due date (default 5 days).
- Final due date (days) — final due date (default 7 days).
- Invoice language — Konto uses Icelandic for Icelandic addresses, English otherwise.
- Order status after a Konto checkout — Mark as Processing right away, before the customer has paid — off by default (recommended). When off the order waits as On hold and the plugin automatically marks it Processing when the claim or invoice is paid (see step 9). When on the order goes straight to Processing and payment is recorded as a note only. Stock is reserved either way.
- Create a paid Konto invoice automatically — Konto automatically creates a paid invoice for orders placed with other payment methods (no kennitala: cash sale on the shop's own kennitala).
Click “Save changes” when you are done.

- 7
The customer picks the bank claim at checkout
At the payment step “Reikningur í netbanka” appears as a payment option. The customer clicks it to select it and enters their kennitala in the field “Kennitala (required for Konto bank invoice)”. The kennitala is only required for this payment method and its check digit is validated automatically. Companies can tick “Send the invoice as an XML e-invoice (companies)” to receive an electronic invoice.

- 8
The Konto invoice and bank claim are ready
When the order is placed, Konto automatically issues the invoice, emails the PDF to the customer (or sends an XML e-invoice) and creates a bank claim in the customer's online bank. In the order you will see:
- “Konto invoice: MRFS-1086” under General.
- An order note: “Konto invoice MRFS-1086 issued with a bank claim.”
By default the order waits in On hold until the claim is paid — the plugin handles the status change automatically, see the next step.

- 9
The order is automatically marked as paid
When the customer pays the bank claim in their online bank — or the invoice is marked paid in Konto — the plugin automatically moves the order from On hold to Processing. The payment date is recorded, the invoice number is set as the transaction ID, and the order receives the note “Konto: invoice … was paid”.
The plugin checks payment status every 15 minutes. To check a single order immediately, select “Konto: check payment status” under Order actions.
If the invoice or claim is cancelled in Konto the order receives a note but no automatic change occurs — adjust it yourself in WooCommerce.
Setup of Konto for WooCommerce is now complete. To sync stock levels read guide 2 — Stock sync from Konto. Refunds and credit notes are covered in guide 3.

Plan requirements and prerequisites — Konto for WooCommerce
API access (web services) is included in the Fræ plan and higher. The “Konto Checkout for WooCommerce” plugin is free on WordPress.org and requires WordPress 6.0 or later, PHP 7.4 or later, and WooCommerce. It works with both block checkout and classic checkout, and supports WooCommerce HPOS.
Card payments and Konto for WooCommerce: automatic invoices
With the “Create a paid Konto invoice automatically” setting (see step 6) Konto automatically creates a paid invoice when an order reaches Processing or Completed — regardless of the payment method used. If the customer did not provide a kennitala the invoice is recorded as a cash sale on the shop's own kennitala.

Questions? support@konto.is
Konto dla WooCommerce: konfiguracja i płatność zleceniem bankowym
Konto dla WooCommerce umożliwia klientom płatność zleceniem bankowym bezpośrednio w kasie — a Konto automatycznie wystawia prawnie ważną islandzką fakturę dla każdego zamówienia. Wystarczy zainstalować bezpłatną wtyczkę i wkleić dwie wartości z Konto, a sklep jest gotowy do działania.
- 1
- 2
Skopiuj nazwę użytkownika i klucz API

- 3
- 4
- 5
Włącz metodę płatności i wklej klucz
Zaznacz „Enable/Disable — Offer Konto (invoice + bank claim) at checkout”, aby włączyć metodę płatności. Tytuł widoczny dla klientów w kasie domyślnie brzmi „Reikningur í netbanka” — możesz go zmienić.
Wklej Username (UŻYTKOWNIK) i API key (KLUCZ API) skopiowane z Konto. Kliknij „Save changes” — po zapisaniu strona potwierdzi połączenie: „Connected account: <nazwa firmy>.”

- 6
Skonfiguruj opcje faktur i zapisz
Dostosuj według potrzeb:
- Due date (days) — termin płatności faktury (domyślnie 5 dni).
- Final due date (days) — ostateczny termin płatności (domyślnie 7 dni).
- Invoice language — Konto używa języka islandzkiego dla adresów islandzkich, w pozostałych przypadkach angielskiego.
- Order status after a Konto checkout — Mark as Processing right away, before the customer has paid — domyślnie wyłączone (zalecane).

- 7
Klient wybiera zlecenie bankowe w kasie
Klient klika ją, aby wybrać tę metodę, i wpisuje swój numer kennitala w polu „Kennitala (required for Konto bank invoice)”. Firmy mogą zaznaczyć „Send the invoice as an XML e-invoice (companies)”, aby otrzymać fakturę elektroniczną.

- 8
Faktura Konto i zlecenie bankowe są gotowe
Gdy zamówienie zostanie złożone, Konto automatycznie wystawia fakturę, wysyła PDF na adres e-mail klienta (lub fakturę XML) i tworzy zlecenie bankowe w bankowości internetowej klienta. W zamówieniu zobaczysz:
- „Konto invoice: MRFS-1086” w sekcji General.
- Notatkę do zamówienia: „Konto invoice MRFS-1086 issued with a bank claim.”
Domyślnie zamówienie czeka ze statusem On hold do momentu zapłaty zlecenia — wtyczka automatycznie zmienia status, zob. następny krok.

- 9
Aby sprawdzić jedno zamówienie natychmiast, wybierz „Konto: check payment status” w sekcji Order actions.
